KTA 6: Legal and Ethical considerations

 PRS License - making sure this is in place so that musicians and record labels are paid royalties for songs that are broadcasted

Copyright and ownership - if the content is presented as an original e.g imagery and graphics in the background

Health and safety - when filming for camera crew, presenters. By law there should be a legalisationnin place to protect people who are in the media (why people do recces, risk assessments)

Contracts of work - model releases, location release forms

Media regulations - music videos are regulated by the BFFC. This is to make sure that bad language, and dangerous behaviour presented such as drug use and sexual behaviour isn’t used in music videos

Health and Safety - things that require a health and safety check is things such as fire hazards, falling hazards, electrical safety, noise and hearing health. Contracts of work - people who would require theses contracts would be people who are featured in the music video and
